Business Central Pricing
The Business Central pricing is dependent on the number of users and type of users required for your use. There are two types of users, depending on the usage level – namely Full Users and Team Users. The pricing for both also differs a lot – so read on to understand the difference between both in order to maximize your investment dollars on this ERP solution.
Dynamics 365 Business Central is a business management solution for small and midsize businesses that combines a range of functionalities across operations, finance, supply chain, sales and marketing.
Before you start looking at the pricing, we will share with you what Full Users and Team Users mean in Dynamics 365 Business Central. This will enable you to plan your team’s usage and match them with the licenses for the solution.
A Full User license is for those employees whose work requires that they have access to the functionality-rich business applications. This is for employees who work with sales, customer service, finance, or supply chain management. ‘The ‘full user’ license is the type of license previously known as ‘Pro User’ license. Full users are licensed per named user base through a Business Central subscription and may be either on the Essentials or Premium version of Business Central. Depending on whether you are opting for Essential or Premium, full user licenses range from $70 to $100 (US Dollars).
The Team Member license can often represent a significant proportion of users in a company. These users may need to consume data or reports, complete less demanding tasks but may also be heavier users of the system who does not require full user functionality. These additional users can be licensed with Dynamics 365 Business Central Team Members. Team member user licenses are $8 (US Dollars) each.
