Performing Year-End Closing for SAP Business One

As the year comes to an end, it is the time to perform the much needed year-end closing for your SAP Business One. The financial year-end closing is an annual process crucial for the continuity of the finance process.

For those that year-end close is 31st December, your 2020/2021 periods need to be created before 1st January 2021. If they are not created within that time frame, no transactions will be processed from 1st January 2021 onwards.

It is very important to ensure that the periods are created correctly as you will not be able to delete any periods created incorrectly once transactions have been processed.
